In a large bowl, fill in some warm water to soften your rice papers. You can opt to use two rice papers so that it won't break easily when wrapping. Toss in the water your rice papers gently and soak for about a minute. Prepare a clean cloth to lay in your softened rice papers.

On your rice paper, set 4 mint leaves and 4 sliced shrimps. Add in your lettuce leaf and enough amount of rice vermicelli and a spoonful of bean sprouts if you have one. Or anything you want to put inside your spring rolls.Lay another lettuce leaf on top. Make sure to keep about 2 inches uncovered on both sides.
