Fine Noodles with Green Prawns

Join us as we show you how to make a good plate of Fine Noodles with Green Prawns

 

What you need:

 

  • 2 tbsp crushed roasted peanuts

  • 12 sheets rice paper

  • 1 green mango

  • 1 green banana

  • 1 Lebanese cucumber

  • 12 bamboo skewers

  • 12 medium green king prawns

  • 12 cooked thin thread vermicelli noodles

  • 1 tsp fish sauce

  • 6 lettuce leaves, torn in half

  • Nuoc mam cham dipping fish sauce

Garlic chive oil

  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil

  • 6 garlic chives, finely sliced

 

Here’s how you make Fine Noodles with Green Prawns

 

  1. Saute garlic chives and oil over medium heat to make the garlic chive oil. Let it simmer then remove from heat and transfer into a bowl. Set aside

  2. Grill prawns in a charcoal for 2 minutes turning each side to evenly cook.

  3. Heat the noodles in a microwave oven for a minute the distribute into different bowls. Drizzle some garlic chive oil, fish sauce and crushed peanuts.

  4. In a bowl, soak rice paper in a warm water then lay on a plate. Put the vermicelli noodles, lettuce, cucumber, green banana, green mango and prawns. Then roll rice papers from the bottom to top then close both sides of the roll

  5. Serve in a plate with nuoc mam cham on the side
