Stir-fried Mussel and Prawn

 

Here’s another seafood dish that you want in your starving tummy. We will teach you how to make Stir-fried Mussel and Prawn

What you need:

 

  • 1 kg mussels, bearded, scrubbed

  • 350 g green king prawns, peeled with tails intact, cleaned

  • 250 g snow peas, trimmed

  • 2 tsp chicken stock powder

  • 20 g dried shiitake mushrooms

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 tsp soy sauce

  • 2 tsp fish sauce

  • 2 tsp white sugar

  • spring onions

  • coriander sprigs

  • steamed rice


 

Here’s how you make Stir-fried Mussel and Prawn

  1. In a bowl filled with warm water, soak the mushrooms for at least 20 minutes until soft. Drain out excess water and remove stalks then chop

  2. Stir-fry onions for 2 minutes until fragrant then add in mussels. Let it cook for 2 minutes or until the shells starts to open up.Pour in the mushrooms, prawns and snow peas then cook for another minute or until prawns turns to orange in color. Join in the chicken stock powder, soy sauce, fish sauce and sugar then let it cook for another minute or until the snow peas becomes tender

  3. Serve in a nice plate and garnish with coriander and spring onions. Pair it with your jasmine rice
