What you need:

  • 5 g dried black prune

  • 5 g dried lily petals

  • 5 g pearl barley

  • 5 g dried raisins

  • 300 g short spare ribs

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 5 g dried ginseng

  • 5 g dried lotus seeds

  • 5 g dried goji berries

  • 5 g dried longon

  • 5 g dried white vegetable root

 

Here’s how you make Pork Spare Ribs Slow Braised in Medicinal Broth

  1. Coat pork ribs with salt

  2. Prepare a large pot with 2 liters of water to boil

  3. Combine chinese herbs in a claypot then lay on top the pork ribs

  4. Pour in enough water that reaches just at the top of the pork. Probably about 300-500 ml

  5. Cover the clay pot and place it on the simmering water. Make sure the water is just below the claypot. Let it simmer for 3 hours.

  6. Plate in a nice plate. Best serve with jasmine rice
