Crab Wok-tossed in Tamarind Sauce (Wok De Crabes Sauce Tamarin)

A quick easy steps on how to make Crab Wok-tossed in Tamarind Sauce (Wok De Crabes Sauce Tamarin)

 

What you need:

  • 2 tbsp fish sauce

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 kg cooked crab

  • ½ red capsicum

  • 1 spring onion

  • 4 sprigs coriander

  • 8 mint leaves

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 2 red Asian shallots

  • ½ cup tamarind water

  • lime cheeks


 

Here’s how you make Crab Wok-tossed in Tamarind Sauce (Wok De Crabes Sauce Tamarin)

  1. Stir-fry shallots and garlic for 30 sec then add honey, fish sauce, and tamarind water. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.

  2. Place the crab and mix well to completely combine with the sauce. Let it cook for another  minutes then you can add the capsicum and spring onion then stir for another minute.

  3. Plate in the the crab and top it off with mint and coriander. You can add crab shell (optional) Serve with lime
