Chargrilled Phu Quoc Salt and Chilli Squid

Here’s another seafood recipe you would want, Chargrilled Phu Quoc Salt and Chilli Squid

 

What you need:

 

  • 1 whole squid

  • 2 chilli

  • 2 tsp salt

Lemon sauce

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 tsp fine white pepper


 

Here’s how you make Chargrilled Phu Quoc Salt and Chilli Squid

  1. Remove the head of the squid, cut it open to remove the guts, cartilage and ink sac. Lay it on a paper towel or clean cloth

  2. In a mortar and pestle pound some chilli add in salt and mix together then cover the squid with the mixture. Coat both sides evenly.

  3. Grill the squid for 3 minutes with constant turning until both sides are evenly cook

  4. Combine salt. pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl.

  5. Slice the squid into desired cut and toss in the salt and pepper lemon sauce
